We hope that you have a wonderful Christmas and a fabulous New Year. We also hope that our Jewish friends had a wonderful Hanukah. We are so very blessed to be living in this serene and beautiful environment. There is a chance that we will have a white Christmas this year as we have already had flurries and more moisture is heading our way. We've been enjoying warm fires in our fireplace with all of our candles lit, just reading and holding the pets in our lap. I guess it doesn't sound very exciting, but it is! We are hosting our second annual Wassail party on December 21st and I am making three different kinds of cookies this year. We will also be serving sandwiches and friends are planning on bringing cheese balls and Swedish meat balls. Yum! But it's really all about fellowship with the dear friends we have made since moving here.
Our daughter and her family are planning a visit for New Years and there is a possibility that our son David and his soulmate, Meg, may be able to visit as well. We are looking forward to sharing our home with them once again. I've decorated a special room for the grandchilden, including a television and DVD player, as per special request. We will have a fireworks display as well (Boom, Flash!).
We are looking forward to another year in the foothills of the Smoky Mountains and the changing seasons. Each season is a blessing, even the deep winter. I feel so spiritual and close to God here. We know it's just geography, but it has become a dream come true for both of us (and the rotten pups and the spoiled cat).
Love to you all,
The Tennessee Hillbillies

Lynne, I hope you have a wonderful Christmas too. Thanks for all your help this year at BF, and it's been a pleasure getting to know you.
We here in Michigan got almost 11 inches of snow, it's pretty, but it could all melt away on the 26th for all I care. :p
Take care,
